Working meeting on the organization of the exhibition “Tajikistan – The land of unique heritage” in Rome
Within the framework of an official working visit to the Italian Republic, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan visited the Museo delle Civiltà in Rome, where a working meeting was held to discuss and coordinate the preparation and implementation of the international exhibition “Tajikistan – the Land of Unique Heritage.”
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mr. Jamoliddin Ubaidullo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Italian Republic; Mr. Ibrohimzoda Zafarsho Safo, Director of the State Institution “National Museum” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan; Dr. Luana Toniolo, Director of the Museo delle Civiltà; as well as representatives of the host institution, including Dr. Massimiliano A. Polichetti.
During the meeting, the parties conducted a comprehensive review of the key organizational and technical aspects of the forthcoming exhibition project.
Particular attention was given to the selection and allocation of exhibition spaces, the development of the exhibition design, logistics, insurance coverage, and the safe handling and transportation of museum objects in accordance with international museum standards and best practices.
In addition, the parties addressed technical coordination issues and the implementation of a public engagement and communication strategy, including promotional activities across the Rome.
Furthermore, matters related to the official opening ceremony, including arrangements and the preparation of official remarks by both sides, were thoroughly discussed and agreed upon.
The parties emphasized the significance of the exhibition as a major international event and underlined its role in presenting the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Republic of Tajikistan to an international audience, as well as in strengthening institutional partnerships and bilateral cultural cooperation.
The meeting was recognized as a key milestone in the preparatory phase of the exhibition project and established a solid foundation for the further development of inter-museum collaboration.
