Visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Seychelles to the National Museum

On April 27, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Seychelles, Barry Faure, who was on an official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, visited the National Museum with the aim of familiarizing himself with the ancient history and cultural heritage of the Tajik people.

The guests were welcomed by Alisher Najmiddin Zarifi, First Deputy Director of the State Institution “National Museum” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, along with other responsible officials. During the visit, a museum specialist conducted a guided tour at a high professional level.

While touring the exhibition halls, the guests became acquainted with unique historical artifacts, as well as with the key stages of the rich and distinguished history and culture of the Tajik people.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Barry Faure, expressed his satisfaction with the exhibition and made an entry in the National Museum’s “Book of Honorary Guests.”

Finally, both sides exchanged commemorative gifts as a symbol of mutual respect, friendship, and appreciation of cultural values.
