“OPEN DOOR’S DAY” AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM IN HONOR OF “DAY OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN”
In honour of the “Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan” on 16 November 2024, the National Museum announces an “Open Doors Day”, during which visitors will have the opportunity to visit all exhibition halls of the museum free of charge from 08:00 to 18:00.
As part of the festivities dedicated to the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Museum guides will organise excursions to the Hall of Gifts of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
On this day, a painting by the young Tajik artist Boymurodov Behzod depicting the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon, as well as the achievements in the field of road and transport infrastructure during the years of Tajikistan’s independence: the Istiklol Tunnel, the Dushanbe-Bokhtar-Kulyab railway, roads of international importance, flyovers of the city of Dushanbe, as well as a beautiful mountainous landscape and other modern buildings and structures will be presented.
We would like to remind visitors that this work of art was recently presented to the National Museum by the Leader of the Nation, honourable Emomali Rahmon.
We invite all residents and distinguished guests of our beloved capital to participate in the festive events of the National Museum in honour of the “Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan”.
New presents of honourable Emomali Rahmon have been donated to the National Museum
On 10.10.2024, Chairman of the Islamic Council of Iran Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, as part of his official visit to Tajikistan, met with the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Honourable Emomali Rahmon.
During this fruitful meeting, the Chairman of the Islamic Council of Iran, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, had the honour of presenting the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, honourable Emomali Rahmon, with a tablet inscribed with a patterned fabric, a copy of the book “Shohnoma” by Abulqosim Firdavsi and a set of woven table canvases with a patterns.
This plate is woven as a symbol of friendship by Iranian artisans, with the national sanctity of two friendly countries – the National flag of Tajikistan and the National flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran in its center, and historical and cultural monuments of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, such as the Mausoleum of AbuAbdullah Rudaki, National Flag Park, National Museum, National Library, Hisar Fortress, Independence Square, National Palace, Navruz Palace, Mir Said Ali Hamadoni Mausoleum, Ismail Somoni Monument, Bam Castle, Hafiz Mausoleum, Kavos Dome Tower, Firdavsi Mausoleum, Takht-e Jamshid, Mausoleum of Imam Riza, Milod Tower, Ahvaz Bridge, Imam Isfahan Square, Mosque of Yazd community and Khayyam’s Mausoleum are depicted.
In accordance with the instructions of Honourable Emomali Rahmon, the gifts were respectfully handed over to the National Museum. In compliance with the museum’s regulations, they are now on display in a separate corner of the hall, titled “Gifts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon”.
