The Secretary General of the OSCE Visited the National Museum

Today, on 20 May 2026, within the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, the delegation of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), headed by the OSCE Secretary General, Mr. Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu, visited the National Museum.

The guests were welcomed by Zarifi Alisher Najmiddin, First Deputy Director of the State Institution “National Museum” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, along with other responsible officials. An excursion of the museum was organized for the delegation, during which the visitors were introduced to the history of the Tajik people as well as to the achievements attained during the period of the country’s independence.

Mr. Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu and members of the OSCE delegation expressed their satisfaction with visiting the exhibition halls and gaining a deeper understanding of the ancient history and rich cultural heritage of the Tajik people. The distinguished guests also left their remarks in the National Museum’s “Honoured Guests” book.

At the conclusion of the visit, as a gesture of respect and hospitality, the guest was presented with a catalogue featuring selected masterpieces from the National Museum’s collection.
