Visit to the National museum By the newly appointed Foreign ambassadors

On 14 March 2024, ambassadors from Colombia, the Vatican, Sierra Leone and Angola visited the National Museum, which is affiliated to the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, to learn about the rich history and culture of the people of Tajikistan.

Guests were greeted at the main entrance of the building by the Director of the National Museum, Ibrohimzoda Zafarsho Safo, and other officials.

The visitors were given a highly professional tour of the museum by the institution’s guide. The tour was conducted in English. They visited the exhibition halls of the National Museum and learned about the beautiful nature of the country and the proud periods of the Tajik nation’s history through monuments and rare historical findings.

Following their tour of the museum, the newly appointed foreign ambassadors expressed their delight at learning about the history and ancient civilization of the Tajik people and, in keeping with tradition, wrote their impressions in the National Museum’s Honoured Guests Book.
