Sada – embodiment of the national traditions

      30.01.2024, in honor of one of the oldest holidays of the Tajik people – Sada, in the state institution “National Museum”         of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The republican scientific-theoretical conference on “Sada – the embodiment of national traditions” was held.

The conference was attended and addressed by Director of the National Museum Ibrahimzoda Zafarsho Safo, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Yusufshoh Yakubov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Rahimi Dilshod, Director of the Research Institute of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdufattokh Aminov, Director of the Editorial Office of Tajik Folk Culture of the Tajik National Encyclopedia Umarzoda Fathullo, Leading Associate of the Department of Ethnology and History of the Tajik National Encyclopedia Umarzoda Fathullo, Director of the Tajik National Encyclopedia Umarzoda Fathullo, Director of the Department of Ethnology and History of the Tajik National Encyclopedia

During the scientific-theoretical conference, scientists and researchers discussed in the form of a scientific report the topics “Sada – the holiday of the glory of fire and sun”, “Difference of the Sada holiday from other national holidays and rituals”, “Traditions of the Sada holiday in the mountainous areas of Tajikistan until the 80s of the twentieth century”, “The Sada holiday in the poems of Persian-Tajik poets”, “The Sada holiday and its revival in the years of independence” and “Traces of the Sada holiday in the mountainous areas”.

In the end, a discussion and exchange of opinions and knowledge on the theme “Sada – embodiment of national traditions” took place among the participants of the scientific conference.
