Opening of the exhibition “Reflections of water and glaciers in the works of Tajik artists” in Dangara district.

  On August 20, 2024, at the State Institution “Republican Museum-Reserve Dangara” on the initiative of the State Institution “National Museum” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and with the aim of presenting the worthy world initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Honorable Emomali Rahmon in the field of water and climate, including the International Decade of Action on Water for Sustainable Development in 2018-2028 and the announcement of the “International Year of Glacier Protection” in 2025, a mobile museum exhibition entitled “Reflection of water and glaciers in the works of Tajik artists” was held.
The official inauguration of the exhibition was attended by Ibrahimzoda Zafarsho Safo, Director of the National Museum, and Hakimzoda Zuhro Hakim, Deputy Chairman of the Dangara district. In their remarks, they underscored the significance of the global initiatives of the Leader of the Nation in the domains of water and climate.
At the exhibition, the most exemplary works of art created by renowned Tajik artists from the National Museum’s esteemed collection were showcased. These pieces depicted the country’s striking landscapes, including clear waters, soaring mountains, rivers, springs, glaciers, and other natural wonders.
Please be advised that the exhibition, “Reflections of water and glaciers in the works of tajik artists,” will remain on view until August 27, 2024, at the State Institution, “Dangara Republican Museum-Reserve.”
At this time, the inhabitants of the Dangara district, comprising workers of various professions, residents, and guests, have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the artistic output of Tajikistan.
