Holding a festive exhibition and a national conference at the National Museum

     On 25.06.2024, the State Institution ‘National Museum’ of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan together with the Executive Committee of the Movement of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan held a national conference and opened an exhibition dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the ‘Day of National Unity’ under the title ‘The Leader of the Nation – a Symbol of the Origin of Unity’.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the management and staff of the National Museum, representatives of the Executive Committee of the Movement of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan, members of the Council of Elders of the Movement of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan, the Council of War and Labour Veterans and the media.

Exhibits from the National Museum’s collection illustrate the process of negotiating and achieving peace and unity in the Republic of Tajikistan, such as the “Pen of Peace”, “Jug of Unity”, paintings entitled “Peace is the Main Goal”, “Eternal Oath”, “Mother’s Prayer” and “Independence”, each of which tells the story of the emergence of the peacemaking experience of the Tajik people. The exhibition also includes scientific works by Tajik scientists.

In continuation of the festive event in the round hall of the National Museum the republican conference ‘Leader of the Nation – a Symbol of the Origin of Unity’ was held, where the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Movement of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan Rudoba Mukarram, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Movement of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan Gaibullo Afzalov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of War and Labour of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov, Permanent Representative of the Aga Khan Development Organisation in Tajikistan Kazidavlat Coimdodov, public figure and statesman Rafika Musaeva and People’s Poet of Tajikistan Kamol Nasrullo made a speech.

During the conference, civil servants of the Republic of Tajikistan, experts and industry researchers expressed their opinions on the topic ‘Leader of the Nation – a Symbol of the Birth of Unity’.

The exhibition ‘Leader of the Nation – Symbol of the Birth of Unity’ at the National Museum will run until 1 July 2024.
