The Leader of the Nation presented a valuable gift to the National museum

On July 9, 2025, during the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, respected Sadyr Japarov, to the Republic of Tajikistan, the Heads of State — respected Emomali Rahmon and honourable Sadyr Japarov — visited the scenic and charming area of the “Takob” countryside residence.
During this cordial meeting, held in an atmosphere of sincerity and brotherhood, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, His Excellency Sadyr Japarov, presented a valuable cultural gift — a unique piece of art entitled ‘A Mother’s Blessing’ — to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
This artwork, handcrafted using wool and natural dyes by skilled Kyrgyz artisans, measures 78×116 cm. It is considered a rare example of traditional Kyrgyz felt-making art. The composition captures a poignant and symbolic moment — the President of the Republic of Tajikistan alongside his mother, both engaged in a prayer gesture. This scene reflects filial devotion, reverence for family values, and the spiritual strength inherent in national traditions.
Each detail of the artwork was meticulously crafted by skilled artisans from the Kyrgyz Republic, showcasing a deep respect for national customs and reflecting the authentic friendship between the two nations.
This cultural gift is a symbol of the Kyrgyz people’s genuine respect for the Tajik people and of the enduring friendship between the two countries.
Pursuant to the directive of the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, this distinctive gift has been consigned to the National Museum. In accordance with museum regulations, it has been included in the museum’s permanent exhibition and is now on public display.
We cordially invite everyone to visit the National Museum to learn more about this exceptional gift.
