Opening of the Exhibition “Tajikistan: A Country of Historical Monuments” in the Arab Republic of Egypt

On December 10, 2024, the international exhibition titled “Tajikistan: A Country of Historical Monuments” was officially opened at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The event was organized at the initiative of the State Institution ‘National Museum’ of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the official opening of the exhibition, Parviz Mirzozoda, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Ibrahimzoda Zafarsho Safo, Director of the National Museum, shared insights into the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Tajik people.

The opening of the exhibition was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, Tajik nationals residing in Egypt, and members of the media from the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The exhibition showcased over 100 photographs from the official visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, honorable Emomali Rahmon, to the Arab Republic of Egypt in 2022. It also featured rare historical artifacts from the National Museum, as well as images of the modern city of Dushanbe and key tourist attractions across Tajikistan.

Following the opening ceremony, a representative of the National Museum led a guided tour, giving guests the opportunity to explore the history, culture, and tourist attractions of Tajikistan through the displayed photographs.
