Opening of the exhibition “Reflection of the achievements of the winners of the republican contest ‘Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland’ at the National museum”
Today, on January 27, 2026, the exhibition entitled “Reflection of the Achievements of the Winners of the Republican Contest ‘Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland’ at the National Museum” was officially opened at the State Institution National Museum of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
At the opening ceremony, welcoming speeches were delivered by the Director of the National Museum, Zafarsho Safо Ibrohimzoda; Advisor to the Office of the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Social Development and Public Relations, Muhiddin Shohinbod Panjshanbezoda; Vice-Rector of the State Institute of Fine Arts and Design of Tajikistan, Bakhtiyor Odinazoda; Head of the Department of Propaganda and Agitation of the Central Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, Sadriddin Shirinbekzoda; as well as the winner of the republican contest “Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland,” Mastona Boborajabzoda.
The exhibition was attended by employees of the National Museum, students and faculty members of the State Institute of Fine Arts and Design of Tajikistan, the Mirzo Tursunzade State Institute of Culture and Arts of Tajikistan, the Republican Art College named after M. Olimov, students of general secondary education institutions of the city of Dushanbe, participants of the republican contest “Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland,” and representatives of the mass media.
The exhibition features 37 works of art that won the Grand Prix, as well as first, second, and third prizes, at the final stage of the 2025 republican contest “Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland” in the category of fine arts and design.
It should be noted that the republican contest “Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland” has been held for the seventh consecutive year under the attention and patronage of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. The contest aims to present the high culture of the Tajik people, revive and promote national art, honor the artistic and craft heritage of ancestors, enhance the professional level of musical art, instrumental performance, vocal art, as well as fine arts, sculpture, decorative and applied arts, and fashion design, and to select the best examples of melodies, songs, and works of art.
In 2025, the contest was conducted in five categories: composition and musical creativity, vocal art, instrumental performance, fine arts, and design. In the fine arts and design category, participants competed in the following genres: fine arts (painting, sculpture, graphics, miniature art), decorative and applied arts (ceramics, jewelry, artistic painting, artistic wood carving), graphic design, advertising, interior design, fashion design, and artistic textile weaving.
The exhibition “Reflection of the Achievements of the Winners of the Republican Contest ‘Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland’ at the National Museum” will remain open to visitors until February 10 of the current year.
